Cartalax 20mg research vial
Cartalax is a lab-made 3 amino acid peptide, Ala-Glu-Asp; the 20mg vial sells for 2,500,000 VND ($100 USD). The Cartalax price was checked by Peptides Ho Chi Minh on 11 October 2026, and its three cell studies below open on PubMed.
What is Cartalax?
The research papers call it AED, after its sequence.
It comes from the same St. Petersburg family of short peptides as Pinealon and Vilon. PubMed has only 6 records that use the name Cartalax.
Ala-Glu-Asp is short for alanine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid, the three amino acids in that order.
Good to know
If you see AED in a paper, that is Cartalax under its sequence name. A PubMed search for Cartalax alone finds only 6 records, so most of what exists sits under AED, and nearly all of it comes from the same group.
Cartalax in three cell studies
- Cell study, 2020. Aging human skin cells were grown with the peptide, and the team measured collagen and two cell upkeep proteins, sirtuin-1 and sirtuin-6.
- Cell study, 2016. In aging skin cells, the study measured an enzyme that breaks down skin, and markers of cell growth.
- Cell study, 2020. Aging human stem cell cultures were checked for aging genes, with this peptide and two related ones.
A handful of cell studies, almost all from one research group, and our search found no animal or human trial.
How to read this
Cartalax research lives in the lab. The three studies use aging skin cells and stem cells grown in dishes, and they measure collagen, enzymes, genes and sirtuin proteins. Those are useful measures, but a cell in a dish lacks the body around it. With only 6 PubMed records using the name, and the work almost all from one group, this is an early, narrow record.
The Cartalax paper trail
Two of the three papers appeared in the Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine (2016 and 2020), and the third in Molecular Biology Reports in 2020. All three include researchers from the Khavinson group, based at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. In 2020, the sirtuins measured were sirtuin-1 and sirtuin-6, two proteins involved in cell upkeep.

Questions about Cartalax
What has research on Cartalax looked at?
Aging skin cells and stem cells in the lab, from one research group. No animal or human trials found.
Why do papers call Cartalax AED?
AED is its sequence in one-letter codes: alanine, glutamic acid and aspartic acid. Research papers use that name, and only 6 PubMed records use the name Cartalax at all, so a search for AED finds more of its record.
How much research is there on Cartalax?
Very little under that name: PubMed has only 6 records that use the word Cartalax. Most papers call it AED instead, and the three listed here are cell studies.
