GHK-Cu 100mg research vial
GHK-Cu is a 3 amino acid peptide bound to copper; one 100mg vial costs 5,100,000 VND ($200 USD). Our 11 October 2026 price check covers this vial, and the four GHK-Cu papers below each open on PubMed.
What is GHK-Cu?
GHK is a tiny peptide of 3 amino acids that turns up in human blood, saliva and urine. GHK-Cu is the same peptide joined to copper.
Most of its research is skin and cosmetic research, and that is how this page reads it.
GHK-Cu: three reviews and one small trial
- Review, 2015. A skin review covered lab and animal work on GHK and collagen, and GHK levels in human blood at different ages.
- Human trial, 2006. 13 people used GHK-Cu products or plain products after laser skin work. The study scored redness and wrinkles, and asked people to rate their own skin. Measured redness and wrinkles showed no difference between the two.
- Review, 2025. GHK is a common anti-wrinkle ingredient, and this review asked how well it gets into skin. It calls the data on that limited.
- Review, 2018. A review of lab tests on GHK and the activity of many human genes.
There are decades of lab, animal and skin research, but the human skin studies are small. All of it is cosmetic and skin research.
How to read this
The GHK-Cu record is long but uneven. Lab and animal work on collagen and genes goes back decades. The human skin studies are much smaller: the one listed here had 13 people after laser skin work, and it scored redness, wrinkles and how people rated their own skin. The 2025 review adds a practical question the field has not settled, which is how much GHK actually gets into skin.
The GHK-Cu paper trail
The 2006 trial ran in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, with 13 people after laser skin work. The three reviews appeared in BioMed Research International in 2015, the International Journal of Molecular Sciences in 2018 and BioImpacts in 2025. The 2018 review is about gene activity in lab tests, a step removed from skin itself. Three of the four papers are reviews, so most of this record sums up older work rather than testing anything new.

Questions about GHK-Cu
What has research on GHK-Cu looked at?
Skin and cosmetic research: collagen in lab and animal work, gene activity in lab tests, and small human skin studies.
Where does GHK occur naturally?
GHK, the peptide without its copper, turns up in human blood, saliva and urine. The 2015 review notes that GHK levels in blood are lower at older ages.
What is GHK-Cu peptide used for?
Mostly skin and cosmetic research. GHK-Cu has decades of lab and animal work and a few small human skin studies with mixed results. The vial here is a research compound, not a serum or a medicine.
How many papers use the name GHK-Cu?
83. That is what PubMed returned on 18 October 2026 when we searched for the name GHK-Cu. Papers that only say GHK or copper tripeptide are not in that figure.
