- Review, 2023. A review of glutathione's jobs in cells, such as mopping up harmful oxygen and helping clear toxins.
- Review, 2019. A review looked for studies of glutathione and skin color. It found only 4, and called the evidence unclear.

The 2015 trial, in the European Journal of Nutrition, ran 6 months with 54 adults and a placebo group. It also measured levels in cheek cells. The 2023 review appeared in Ageing Research Reviews. The 2019 skin color review, in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, found only 4 studies to look at. The trial used supplements, a different form from this vial, so its numbers do not carry over.
