What is Kisspeptin-10?
Kisspeptin-10 is a chain of 10 amino acids. Kisspeptin is a natural brain signal made from the KISS1 gene.
It acts on the brain cells that release GnRH, which starts the release of sex hormones.

- Human trial, 2013. 12 men took part, 5 with type 2 diabetes and low testosterone and 7 without diabetes. LH and testosterone were measured after kisspeptin-10.

The 2011 study appeared in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, and the 2013 study in Clinical Endocrinology. That 2013 study had 5 men with type 2 diabetes and low testosterone and 7 men without diabetes. The 2015 review ran in the Singapore Medical Journal. Many human kisspeptin studies use a longer form, kisspeptin-54, so a search turns up results that are not about this 10 amino acid piece.
