Vilon 20mg research vial
Vilon is a lab-made peptide of just 2 amino acids, Lys-Glu; 20mg vials go for 2,500,000 VND ($100 USD) each. Vilon's three studies below link to PubMed, and we confirmed the price on 11 October 2026.
What is Vilon?
The sequence is also written KE, the same pair named as one of Thymalin's active parts.
Like Thymalin, Vilon comes out of one St. Petersburg research group: 49 of its 80 PubMed records list the same lead author.
Good to know
The 2002 heart gene study tested Vilon side by side with Epithalon, another short peptide on this shelf. Every Vilon study listed here is in mice or cells, and our search found no human trial of Vilon.
Vilon in mice and immune cells
- Animal study, 2000. Female mice got Vilon, and the team followed their activity, lifespan and tumors.
- Animal study, 2002. About 15,000 gene samples in mouse hearts were checked for changes after Vilon.
- Cell study, 2022. Vilon and four related peptides went onto human immune cells in the lab, with growth and inflammation signals measured.
Mostly older mouse studies and recent cell work, nearly all from one group, and our search found no human trial.
How to read this
Vilon is just two amino acids, which makes it one of the smallest peptides anyone studies. Most of the record is older mouse work from one St. Petersburg group, including a lifespan study in female mice, and a heart gene study that checked about 15,000 gene samples. The 2022 immune cell study is newer, but it comes from the same circle of researchers.
The Vilon paper trail
The 2000 and 2002 mouse studies came out in a Russian biology bulletin, and the 2022 cell study in a molecular sciences journal. In the 2000 study, the female mice started on Vilon at 6 months of age. The team then followed them for the rest of their lives. The 2002 study checked about 15,000 gene samples from mouse hearts. The 2022 paper tested Vilon next to four related short peptides on human immune cells. The Thymalin page lists the same paper.

Questions about Vilon
What has research on Vilon looked at?
Lifespan and tumors in mice, heart genes in mice, and immune cell signals in the lab, nearly all from one group.
How is Vilon linked to Thymalin?
Vilon is just two amino acids, Lys-Glu, also written KE. Later papers name KE as one of the main active parts of Thymalin. Both come from the same St. Petersburg research group, and one 2022 cell study tested them side by side.
How much has been published on Vilon?
A PubMed count found 80 records for Vilon, a few of them unrelated uses of the word, and V. Khavinson is an author on 49. So most of the work comes from his St. Petersburg group.
